Why Visantage exists.
In the years around the turn of the millennium, entire categories of business disappeared. Family-owned enterprises that had operated for decades found themselves commercially unprepared for markets that had fundamentally changed. The bread factory, the photo processing shop, the local retailer etc. were businesses that ran out of commercial direction at a revolutionary moment in the digital transformation of markets.
Visantage was founded as a direct response to that reality. The question we set out to answer was: what would have saved them?

Chidera is the founder of Visantage and a strategy and foresight specialist whose work is grounded in a conviction she has held since the start of her career: that good businesses should not fail for lack of direction. She brings a rare combination of disciplines to every engagement: international business management, cultural engineering, and formal legal training as a qualified Nigerian lawyer, alongside deep analytical rigour and on-the-ground market knowledge.
Chidera holds a certified foresight methodology from EDHEC Business School, where she also contributed to high-level market research and strategic case studies at the Centre for Net Positive Business. This foundation enables her to scenario plan for 2030 to 2040 market trajectories and build strategies that are as relevant tomorrow as they are today. Her expertise spans commercial law, regulatory frameworks, and cross-cultural market dynamics. She is bilingual in English and French, qualified in European and African cultural engineering, and a co-founder of a food business in France.
Her particular focus is on helping businesses navigate complexity, anticipate market shifts, and build the strategic clarity needed to grow with confidence.
